Senior Advisor

2012 – 2014

From 2012 to 2014, I served as a senior advisor to Al Riwaq Art Space in Manama, Bahrain, supporting the organization’s strategic and programmatic development. My work included strategic planning, project development, and budgeting across a range of initiatives, including exhibitions, design workshops, and public programs such as Nest and Alwan.

In this role, I helped identify and connect the organization with artists, curators, and designers to develop exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects. I also worked closely with the team to design a residency framework that would strengthen the organization’s long-term impact, supporting art education, fostering dialogue between local and international artists, and expanding the institution’s exhibition and public programming.
