For Sinopale 8, co-curated online due to Covid, we explored how every artwork carries traces of the city, the artists’ research, and their making processes. Through reflection on past works and archival materials, we asked how this dispersed yet concrete knowledge about Sinop and its people could be gathered, made accessible, and used to inform collective understanding. By tracing patterns and connections across artworks, we aimed to highlight trends and insights that could empower future creative and civic action.
